ABOUT THE UAA The UAA was established in 1974 with the primary function of providing an association where utility arborists, employed by electric utilities, could network and share information. The membership grew to approximately 500 by 1992. In 1992, the UAA secured the services of an Executive Director/Editor to manage the membership, represent the UAA, and edit the newsletter. Through various initiatives membership has grown to over 2,300. |
